Tips will be provided, starting with what you already know (or at least “think” you know) and following through with trying to prove the story. Along the way we will explore various records, including – court, census, military, prison, and many more.

This group is a forum for sharing your writing about your ancestors for either family members, personal satisfaction, and/or possible publication. Please share your articles, poems, stories and more. Connect with fellow writers in a caring and mutual-critiquing format. New CCGS members are encouraged to join us! We gather online via ZOOM on the 3rd Friday of the month at 10:00am. We meet for ten months of the year, taking time off in July and August.
