
Patrick Browne is a historian, writer, and Executive Director of the Plymouth Antiquarian Society. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Boston University, where he completed an award-winning dissertation, as well as an M.A. in History and a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Patrick previously served as a Lecturer at Boston University, teaching courses on the American Revolution, the history of Boston, and the Civil War era. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he was Executive Director of Pilgrim Hall Museum and spent fifteen years leading the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society. He is the author of two books on local history and has published scholarly articles in academic journals.
