The Cape Cod Genealogical Society was founded on August 25, 1971 by a group of volunteers interested in family research, and was formalized by the adoption of by-laws and the election of officers in March, 1972. The Society has grown to include members from all parts of the United States and Canada. Our membership includes individuals, libraries, historical societies, and other genealogical societies. The Society’s resources extend well beyond the Cape Cod area and address the genealogical interests of a broad array of ethnicities and nationalities across the world.
