The Cape Cod Genealogical Society, Inc. was founded on August 25,1971 and formalized by the adoption of bylaws and the election of officers on March 16, 1972. Our mission is to promote research and education in genealogy and history; to acquire, catalog, and preserve genealogical and historical information emphasizing, but not limited to Cape Cod; and to disseminate genealogical and historical information by various means. Membership is open to all who have an interest in genealogy, and in particular of the Cape Cod area, whether or not they can attend the monthly meetings of the Society. Our meetings are generally offered in person and via Zoom to encourage participation of members from various locations.
The Cape Cod Genealogical Society is a 501(C)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
